Pros and cons of Virtual Villagers: Origins app for iPhone and iPad

Virtual Villagers: Origins app good for

I love this game. I played it a few times over. I have 2 problems One is the people are too stupid sometimes and when u try and make them learn something new u have to tell them like 20 times over till they get it right and if its something like building and they run across the map to get a rock it takes a long time. Also sometimes when they get the rock and have to walk across the map they get stuck on stuff and drop the rock. So they have to start over again.
This game is all around great, but I notice when I leave my village it looks like the villagers all stop doing their jobs and I come back a few hours later and 14 people are dead!
I really love this game but it could be cool if you could had the family tree of our villagers.
Super fun! Also since lots of people ask to find a food source go to the button that says tech and upgrade farming using your tech points. This allows your villagers to farm.
I love this game!!!!omg!!!!i love it !it has a very good version!i tell you you mustttt dowload it!!!i give it a giant thumb up!!!alissa 4 give helps more!!!!
This is a great game and to get around the food bug just pause the game every time you leave

Some bad moments

I had Virtual Villagers on my iPod for a long time, but now it wont play. I had to download Origins, but the game is now very different. The artwork, specifically the people, is not as good. The introduction video of the villagers escaping is gone. I guess the idea of the game is the same, but this version is just not as good as the original. Why did you change it?
I really like the game...except for the problems. Its awesome but my survivors are starving! The food literally disappears whenever Im off my iPad... or the game. I have no idea how to get more food. The berry bush is out of berries. My villagers are doing plenty of research but nothing is happening. I cant buy anything to help me... I dont have enough tech points! I cant move the boulder or the rocks or make sense of any of the junk on the island.
i used to have this app on my kindle but now i have an iphone and the people dont look the same as they used to. on my kindle it was more up to date but the one on my iphone the people look weird. the apps really fun though just wish the people were different lol
Sure this game was fun at first, but in the end you dont achieve anything! I was so excited to finish this game and then I finally got my golden child to move the bolder and it didnt lead anywhere!!!!!
In the beginning, its super fun. Maybe thats why they hound you for a review so early on. Very quickly you learn that to do ANYTHING you have to constantly earn higher and higher numbers of tech points to buy levels of skills. If you could earn farming tech points for all your farming, or building tech points for your building (and just have the research table for general tech points that could be assigned anywhere) that would be great, but no. So you end up having 30 people crowded around the research table, with a couple people assigned to the other jobs, just so every couple days you can buy a level in some skill that is required to do the next puzzle. This game is like 10% actually doing new stuff and 90% leaving the village to research. I finished it, but it was so boring by the end. Deleting immediately.
There are things about the game that you cant control. You can have 650 food and the next log-in, it is all gone and you have 5 dead people. It said to put them in the water and they will learn to fish. Not true. The food is the main problem. There is no way to get it.
